Performance plates

Take a look at this performance plate which we think helps put our macro split into practice. This is a really flexible approach to structuring your plates. Sometimes it may be that you want/need some higher fat options to get more calories in. 

Other times, recovery from an intense training session is the priority, so some easily digesting carbs and lean protein is the way to go.   

Remember – Use all of these articles as a guide. Don’t get too hung up on the numbers or structures of things. 

The most important thing is that you have the energy you need to prepare and recover well from your training sessions and are left with enough in the tank to take on everything else life throws at us. 

You may prefer to structure your fuelling into high and low-intensity days.
