QUICK GROUND BEEF: Throw 500g of 10% fat beef mince into a hot frypan, no need for any oil. Use a spatula to break it up as it cooks. Add some sea salt, garlic powder, onion granules, cumin, paprika and a squeeze of BBQ sauce. Cook for 2-3mins. Serve with basmati rice and broccoli. Leftovers last in the fridge for 3-4 days.

QUICK BAVETTE MEAL PREP: Coat a ~1kg piece of flank steak with paprika, salt, garlic powder, cumin, dried rosemary, dried thyme and a little brown sugar. Heat a cast-iron pan or BBQ grill so it’s really hot. Place beef in the pan and cook for 5-6 mins each side turning every 2 mins. Take out if the pan, cover in foil and leave for 15mins. Slice thinly and serve with a jacket potato and green leaves like rocket and romaine lettuce. Leftovers last in the fridge for 3-4 days.

BEEF BURGER: Always a good hack to have high-quality burgers with no artificial preservatives lying around in the freezer for quick meals. Place under a grill for 3-4mins each side and serve in a brioche bun, topped with sliced cheese, tomato, avocado and red onions and lettuce.
