Matt has over 20 fitness and nutrition-related qualifications from the likes of Paul Chek, Charles Poliquin, Wolfgang Unsoeld, Eoin Lacey and Tom Hibert, to name a few. This is underpinned by a degree from the prestigious Loughborough University, where he studied Sports Science.
Matt has been working in and around fitness for over 20 years and still competes regularly in fitness competitions himself, winning the national fitness games over 40’s category in 2020. Matt loves working with anyone who takes their health, fitness and training seriously.
He works with a whole range of clients, from high-level amateur athletes to retired city workers – the key is that they have the right attitude. Matt has founded his own successful personal training gym – CoActive Health, where he uses a guided programming model to deliver personalised solutions for his diverse clientele.
Matt’s knowledge is vast with his many years’ experience, although he considers traditional strength & conditioning along with fat loss to be his main areas of expertise.
